Preparation of potassium hydroxide 45% w/w solution

The weight to be taken must be based on the purity of potassium hydroxide salts available in laboratory

ü  Weight accurately 53 mg of potassium hydroxide with 84.9 % purity

ü  Dissolve it with 55mg of distilled water or deionized water in 100ml volumetric flask

ü  Shake mechanically or with sonicator to dissolve it completly.

ü  The obtained solution is considered to have the desired concentration.
