Storing the condoms in your wallet increase the risk that it will break during sex intercourse
According to ISO
4074:2015, Condom is medical device used by consumers, which is intended to be
retained on the penis during sexual activity, for purposes of contraception and
prevention of sexually transmitted infections. The studies have shown that on average,
about 2% of condoms break, tear, or slip off completely during sex, primarily
because they are used incorrectly. The following are same actions that can increase
the risk that the condom will break and should be avoided for effective
protection.
·
Do
not unroll the condom first and then try to put it on the penis.
·
Do
not use lubricants with an oil base. These lubricants can damage latex.
·
Do not use a condom if the color is uneven
or changed.
· Do not use a condom that feels brittle, dried out, or very sticky.
·
Do not reuse condoms.
·
Do not have dry sex.
·
Do not use more than one condom at the
same time.
·
Do not use a male and female condom at the
same time
·
Do not use a condom after its expiration
date
·
Do not store condoms in your wallet as
heat and friction can damage them
Lastly, do not use the same condom when switching between different penetrative sex acts, such as from anal to vaginal sex. This can transfer bacteria that can cause infection.
