Unibrol USP 250 mg Tablets called for quarantine

All batches of Aminosidine sulfate USP 250 mg tablets known as Unibrol USP 250 mg tablet produced by Universal Corporation Ltd located in Kikuyu, the Republic of Kenya have called for quarantine and its importation have suspended by Rwanda Food and Drug Authority while the authority conducts deep investigation.

With reference to the letter released by Rwanda FDA to the public, the decision has taken based on the laboratory test result, the complaint from the pharmacist and clients shown that some of the tablet on the same blister change the color from white to yellow through out their shelf life.

Those measures come following the action to call two batches of the stated product banned from the market on 29^th November 2020 for the similar quality complaint.
